Transportation Summit

In the past 14 years, the Transportation & Infrastructure Summit and Convention have become a significant platform for uniting international, national, state and local transportation policy makers who share a common objective and concern for their specific communities. The 5th Annual Transportation and Infrastructure Convention, coming to Washington, D.C. in March, will continue to build on this rich heritage. This year’s Convention follows the highly successful and influential 4th Annual Transportation & Infrastructure Convention held in March 2010 and the 14th Annual Transportation & Infrastructure Summit & 4th Annual Global High-Speed Rail Forum, held in Irving, Texas in August 2011.

Held within walking distance from the halls where national transportation and infrastructure policy is developed, the convention consistently features key policy makers who highlight special discussions, meetings, receptions, and presentations in the heart of Washington, D.C. Last year’s Convention also featured special venues such as The Rayburn House Office Building, the United States Botanical Gardens and historic Union Station. The convention features some of the most strategic locations around Capitol Hill.

Transportation Summit

The past four Transportation Conventions have laid the groundwork for what has developed into an annual multimodal transportation symposium. Comprised of legislators at the local, state, regional and national levels as well as experts from each mode of transportation, this high-level gathering creates an environment to interact with national leaders and helps to shape national transportation and infrastructure policy. The convention features national trade organization officials, members of Congress from both the House and Senate with significant participation from the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee, Administrators from the U.S. Department of Transportation, and several international transportation and infrastructure representatives. This year’s convention will continue to promote these strategic discussions and aid in the development of a national, multimodal, transportation policy on the local, state and national level.
